Not a Fruit Eater

Are you?

A slice of fruit for the Slice of Life Story Challenge: Day 25.

I struggle in consuming fruits but would try any kind of vegetables. There’s something about fruits that after a few bites, they leave a funny taste in my mouth and would almost make me gag. That’s why I love watching students eat their fruits with delight.

After our guests left during March Break, I am left with a ton of strawberries that would not last if I rely on fruit consumption alone. I have to be creative. I’ve tried smoothies before but they have to be consumed right away too. What about frozen treats? Popsicles.

Recipes are now just a Google away. With some adjustments of ingredients according to what I think is better and already have, I was able to make one.

Ingredients:

2 cups of strawberries

2 cups of vanilla yogurt

1/4 cup of sugar (needed when strawberries are still sour)

Put everything in a blender.

In my case, I used my Magic Bullet.

Pour 3/4 in each cup.

Cover it with foil.  Stick the popsicle stick.

Put in the freezer. A few hours later, popsicles are ready!

Now, I have to find who will eat them.
